Aesthetic treatments

Anti-wrinkle injections
(Botox)
Botox is a drug made from botulinum toxin
It is commonly used in aesthetics to reduce the signs of ageing. It relaxes the muscles of the face which are responsible for wrinkles, providing a more youthful and smooth appearance
The treatment takes approximately 2-14 days to take full effect. Results are likely to last up to 4 months. With repeated treatments, results are likely to last longer
The areas treated include:
-
Glabella (between eyebrows)
-
Forehead
-
Crows feet (smile lines)
-
Plus other areas
Hyperhidrosis
(Excessive sweating)
Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) means that you sweat much more than normal. Excessive sweating occurs even when you are not hot, anxious, or exercising.
Botox injections are an option that work well for armpit sweating. Botox stops the nerves in the skin that control the sweat glands from working. It requires multiple small injections of the toxin a few centimetres apart in the armpit.
The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes and usually lasts for up to 6 months

Dermal Fillers
(Hyaluronic Acid)
Our dermal fillers contain Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and are a popular anti-ageing injectable used to restore volume loss, minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin quality. At Aesthetics at Oak Tree our ethos is to tweak, not over-treat. The results are instant and by using small amounts of carefully placed filler, we can create a fresher, more youthful you.
The treatment will last for approximately 4-18 months depending on the area being treated.
The areas treated include:
-
Lip filler
-
Cheek filler
-
Plus other areas
Chemical Peels
(Glycolic Acid)
A fresh way to revitalise your skin, done through a very simple procedure. Our chemical peels contain glyocolic acid and are suitable for all skin types. They work to exfoliate your skin, remove dead skin cells and stimulate growth of new cells, revealing a fresher, clearer, more youthful looking skin beneath the surface.
The powerful blend of ingredients in skin peels work to reduce the appearance of open pores, target blemishes, acne and pigmentation, and visibly smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
The peels we use can only be administered by professionals, but they are still classed as superficial. A single treatment can provide the immediate effect of bright and radiant skin; however, a series of treatments (usually 4-6 at regular intervals) achieve results similar to those seen with deeper peels but without the complications and side effects
